Liebe Pinball2000 Freunde,

beinahe 10 Jahre nach der legendären Pinballexpo 1999 ist die legendäre Pinball2000 Turniersoftware nun wieder da. Sie ist zum freien Download verfügbar im Flipperforum www.pinballz.net!

Für die Pinballexpo 1999 hatten 3 Williams Ingenieure innerhalb weniger Wochen ein Turniersystem entwickelt das eine Netzwerkkarte im Flipper benutzte um mit einem Spielserver zu kommunizieren und einen Barcode-Leser am Flipper der den Spieler identifiziert. Diese Software ging nach der Expo verloren und tauchte erst 2005 durch Zufall wieder auf. Mit einigen Modifikationen wurde die Software dann 2006 auf der EM in München in einem Rand-Turnier mit Geldpreisen verwendet. Mit einigen weiteren Modifikationen steht diese Software nun hier bereit zum Download – zusammen mit einer großen Dokumentation (aktuell nur in Englisch) und mit einigen Bildern und Dateien für ein schnelles Testturnier. Die Software funktioniert mit Revenge und Starwars Episode 1. Man braucht eine Netzwerkkarte und einen Barcodeleser für den Flipper (fragt mich wenn Ihr einen kaufen wollt), aber auch mit einer Netwerkkarte allein kann man schon sehen wie die Scores am Bildschirm durchscrollen mit Bildern.
