      Hallo,

      da gab's doch irgendeine "Regelung", ab wann die neueren Sterns auf VP erscheinen... war nach ein paar Jahren oder so ?( Habe das aber nur noch schwammig in Erinnerung...

      Wann kann man denn mit den ersten neueren Sterns rechnen?

    • Die aktuelle Version von Pinmame (1.53) unterstützt auch den T3,
      der VP-Tisch dafür ist in Arbeit. Das Bildchen unten ist noch wip. work in progress)

      LOTR kommt circa Weihnachten, ob die Emulation des Soundboards genug Rechenleistung
      übrig lässt, um das Ding flüssig spielen zu können, ist eine andere Frage.
      Gleiches Problem gilt für Elvis, Sopranos, Wold Poker Tour, Nascar.

    • Die Regelung hat auch was mit Copyrights zu tun.
      Bisher lagen immer ca 2 Jahre dazwischen. Da Stern aber in dem Zeitraum kräftig an den einzelnen Hardware Komponenten weiter entwickelt hatte wird das wohl etwas aufwändiger.

      So wie es aussieht, laut einer Aussage des Australiers, scheint sowieso jemand etwas gegen die Williams/Bally Table in der VP zu haben.

      Auch denke ich mir das die meistens PF doch etwas aufwändiger zu modellieren sidn als ein EBD :)

    • Hier ist der Originalpost.
      Im Prinzip können die Besitzer der Rechte sehr wohl die Verwendung der ROMs oder gar der Artworks bei der Simulation verbieten...

      Doug,

      I will try and answer some of your question.

      We will be posting pics of our progress to our paid up customers via
      our forum, some pics were posted and more will be posted over the next
      few weeks.

      MM, we reached the numbers required and progress has begun.

      Funhouse playfields were dropped because there was no point in both us
      and ipb making them, we have tried to make items not available from IPB
      so there are more products being made.

      CC we don't take orders till later in the year, we are working on the
      code however at present.

      Everytime we post updates we get flamed, we have not locked out people,
      the forum went private because of mail.ru people posting Meds and porn
      links on the forum, even today 6 .ru tried to register to join the
      forum.

      I am a pinball collector just like you, who was frustrated with the
      situation and bought the rights to manufacture games with Bally
      Williams parts, I am always happy to answer questions, but like most of
      the Game designers etc they were pushed away from this group.

      The main problem with people is parts manufacturers being stopped, they
      all have the option to work with us or IPB, I don't mind who as long as
      the Trademarks are not being misused and the quality is being
      monitored.

      The same dispute is going on with the Pinmame as well, I know you all
      want parts, but the 3rd party license holders don't care about that
      they want money.

      There are more 3rd party licenses we have aquired and can run some
      popular parts over the next few months.

      I think you will find things will get better this year, there are heaps
      more parts available

      Oh, da hätte er sich aber was vorgenommen :D. Selbst wenn er verbieten würde die Roms irgenwo ohne seine Einwilligung (und ohne Cash) downzuloaden würde es noch genügen Leute im "Untergrund" geben die die Dateien auf ihren Rechnern haben und diese beliebig oft weitergeben würden ....

      Ist doch bei den MP3´s nix anderes: normalerweise soll man für sie zahlen aber wie viele Leute tauschen sich die Sachen im Internet weiterhin aus? Internet ist groß und es gibt nix was man dort wirklich konsequent unterbinden könnte :rolleyes:

      Im Endeffekt schneidet er sich mit solchen Äusserungen ins eigene Fleisch und irgendwann interessiert sich niemand mehr für ihn und seine Firma (wenn man da überhaupt von Firma reden kann ....)
